Went to fill a crack and found plasterboard moving. Ripped it down and found

My thoughts are, take wall down between door lining, rip out door lining which as you can see is rotten, support wall above rotten wood lintel with acro props remove lintel and build wall back up tying into old wall and to support wall above.

Does that sound right necessary?

yep,but might be worth spraying surrounding area with a fungicide just in case,especially as its been boarded up for an age.
