Help please
I have a 3and a half year old AEG 72630 OKO LAVAMAT. Within the guarantee period it became extremely noisy whilst spinning.
The large national electrical company we had bought it from had gone bust and our guarantee became invalid,
A local AEG expert told us we needed a new pulley. The pulley had been causing a deep indent in the outside of the drum with a bucketful of associated carbon.
8 weeks late he hadn't obtained a new pulley. We did via the internet.
All OK for 12 months. Then the noisy spinning started again. We replaced the pulley again. A further 12 months of quiet spinning.
The same problem has now arisen. I know the machine gets hammered with a family of 4 but I'm wondering if there is an underlying problem that needs addressing or did we get a 'Friday afternoon machine@ if you get my drift?
Thanks.
