I have a 7m2 area to wall tile and having read the tips at the top of this section, can anyone suggest an affordable product that I can use for decent results? BAL appears to be very dear and I naturally want to avoid using two-in-one pap...

What folks considered as affordable or decent is subjective; generally "cheap" = crap & don't even think about 2 in 1. Bully, plead or shop around for BAL, you won't get better but there are other products available of equal quality.
