After a normal 40o wash clothes are boiling hot!

Please help me, anyone!
When my machine has finished a normal cycle I go to get the clothes out and literally give myself 3rd degree burns.
Im sure this isnt right????????

Have the hot and cold water pipes to the machine got swapped over?
