AGGHHH!!! HOTPOINT AQUARIUS ELECTRONIC 800 WM 12

Hi folks out there in DIYNOT land!

I have the above washer and it has decided to have a breakdown (mind you it is about 10!)

I know nothing about washers apart from filling it and switching it on! The machine has decided not to spin! The washer goes through the cycle but the drum doesn't move so the clothes came out soaking wet!

Can anyone suggest anything? Remember I'm not technical at all - but i still could do with help!
