Hi all. I need some advice on placement for air bricks. I have single skin brick walls with wooden roof, roughly 6.4m x 4m. Got some mould from lack of ventilation on OSB, the bricks have never dried out since building, temps been to low to waterproof them on the inside (above 10 degrees).I’ve got a fan heater in there and the window open, I hope to waterproof asap, but as the temp here is mostly still below 10, I’ll have to wait a week or…3?
I’ve bought 4 clay air bricks (215 x 65) I plan to position them 2 lower on the cold wall at the rear and 2 high on the warm wall opposite for convection, but I also plan to baton and board it in the summer, make it a garden office/workshop/man cave/bike storage. I want it pretty comfy basically.
What is the best course of action? Thanks.
