Hi, i got an expansion vesel, in my attic recently, to solve the air in my radiators, but ther is still air in the radiators, waht do you think may be wrong,
Thanks
If you have a 'sealed system' with an expansion vessel and no F&E tank AND 'air' in the rads, this may just need bleeding out and the pressure topped up. If a system is refilled with fresh water, some air inevitably comes in with the water and finds its way eventually to the top of a rad.
OTOH, you MAY be getting hydrogen or methane gas generated by corrosion processes inside the rads. When you next bleed a rad, collect some of the gas in a small container (as in school chemistry practicals, hold the container upside-down ABOVE the bleedscrew!) and then try to light it. If it pops, it's hydrogen! If so, you need to flush the system and add inhibitor.
