hi i have a small WC downstairs on the ground floor next to the kitchen. i have a douche spray attached to a stop valve which is also attached to a remotely positioned thermostatic valve (under the kitchen sink) the stop valve is only used when the douche is to be used and then the valve is closed.
unfortunately about 2-3 a day water shoots of the douche outlet even with the stop valve closed! this happens usually when someone opens any other cold water tap in the house and the pipe also makes a deep wirling noise!... when i open all the taps in the house (kitchen and bathroom) for a while it stops leaking from the douche outlet but by this time it has flooded the floor!.... this problem is then repeated after maybe a few hours. i have replaced the douche but nil fix :( pls advise. thanks in advance :)

the valve you switch off is obviously passing, it maybe one of the check valves in the thermostat is stuck open, as said post a pic if posssible.
