Air locked shower..hot water only????

I recently had my main water supply turned off by the council without any prior knowledge. When it was turned back on the hot water seemed to be air locked i managed to get rid of the airlocks to everything except the shower. There is no hot water from the shower but cold does any ideas on how i go about clearing this air lock..hope you can help..

Unscrew the shower head and lay the open ended hose at the bottom of the bath/shower tray alternate control knob between hot and cold should pull through...If it is a fixed shower head then remove the head and do above
