My airbricks have deteriorated and are also blocked and need replacing. Can they be replaced externally or would this require the floors to be lifted? Thank you.

No pics so we dont know at what height the air bricks have been installed in the walls?
Sometimes air bricks are installed above the FFL on the basis of some nonsense about "venting the cavity".
A/B's are typically installed below the FFL in the joist bays - the purpose is to ventilate the subfloor area.
If there's an adequate crawl space then work can be done from the sub-area. No need to be lifting any flooring.
Working from the outside, a 600mm steel chisel and a lump hammer will remove any blocking brickwork - but you must be certain you are below the FFL.
215mm x 140mm plastic a/b's are the best replacement a/b's.
