Have just moved a combo boiler into the airing cupboard but can I put a tubular heater in there as well?
It’s not a big area and am a bit concerned that it might be too close or get too hot for the boiler?
Any thoughts? TIA

Tubular heater, do you mean like a round tube radiator? You could add a small one I guess if you need it for say drying stuff but there will be some heat from the boiler?

1. If you mean an electric "greenhouse" type radiator, then assuming you have removed a hot water cylinder to fit the combi, then there should be enough space that the heater will not interfere with the boiler.
2. However, the cost of running such a heater is likely to exceed the cost of running a very small radiator off the boiler, assuming its a gas boiler.

Thanks. That was what I was hoping. Not practical to get a radiator in there really. Boiler isn’t on long enough to heat one enough

No he didn’t. I’ve always used it as a storage cupboard, bedding etc.
Is that wrong?

Only minimal heat from the boiler, and that’s only when it’s on
