Airless sprayer (using too much paint) (Ed.)

Ive got a erbauer eaps600 ive used it twice and both times ive put way to much paint on the walls. Im sure i used a 517 tip. first i think the pressure was too high (max).
The second time was about half between the min and max setting. And still used way much paint. Might look into getting a pressure gauge for it so i can see what psi im using. Apart from the pressure any other ideas what could be making it spray out to much paint?

I was using dulux easycare if that info is any use

I don't think easycare can be sprayed. Look at paint data sheet to confirm. It's got dog on paint tin so contains thixotropic agent

A quick google says it ok to spray. Its probably user error

Just looked up myself for interest.
Just says minimum pressure of 2000lb but you will be using low pressure tip and machine.
I think a smaller 515 tip might help. With airless it throws paint on so you do have to move quickly.
Consider phoning Dulux technical helpline as they will advise on tip size and viscosity.
