I'm about to move into a new build, the neighbourhood is a bit of hotspot for low-level crime, garden sheds, garages, vehicle contents etc. There haven't been any house break-ins as far as I know.
A full house alarm seems an unnecessary expense but I'm considering alarming the garage and maybe the shed plus floodlights and probably CCTV. Not forgetting some bolts on the garage doors.
Are combined WiFi CCTV / light units like the one below worth considering?
I'd like enough light to see what I'm doing on the drive so this particular one is probably not powerful enough but you get the idea?
Is there a wi-fi PIR alarm or something I can use in the garage shed maybe?
