Hi ,just a quick question.
Live in a bungalow and it has no alarm at moment.
What type of system would I need .me the wife and two kids .Entrance to a hallway, which leads to kitchen then living room .Bedrooms off the hall and toilet off the hall .There is an upstairs also .
Now i am thinking it would not be suitable to have a sensor in the hallway, cos its like Picadilly train station through the night depending how many beers i have had and how many times the kids need the loo .
We have front door ,side door on utility room off kitchen .Patio doors off the living room leading to the back garden .
Could have a sensor in living room and utility covering the doors .
Then have a breaker on the front door .
Does this sound like the best solution ?
Would prefer wireless for ease of fitting.
Any comments or idea of cost for a decent system .
Many Thanks
Rob.
Ps I like a little fresh air through the night so breakers on the downstairs windows would not be suitable presumably, which leaves them vulnerable during the day when we are out .Any solution to this ?
Did I say quick question ?

They are contacts, not "breakers" you can see them by looking in the "alarm sticky"

you can have what you like, just dont have radio, try a search to find out why

radio / wirelsss = same thing.

do a search using the search function of the forum for several opinioons, or look in the sticky for a shortened version (Just finished it)
