Hi,
First of all
Is it satisfactory to Spur of a ring main, put a 5 Amp FCU and then run mains from this to both a burglar alarm and a switch to a outside security light?
So you would have this:-
RING MAIN ----- 5A FCU ------- 2 feeds coming out, one to feed the burglar alarm and then other to another switch and then onto outside security light.
also,
I know that your supposed to always have access to junction boxes for testing, but if you are to wire a smoke alarm in it is easier to connect by using a junction box, smoke alarm comes prewired to a connector with flying leads. so, is this satisfactory or should it be connected into choc block or similar
sorry for posting a few questions on one post but thought it would be easier
Any Advice much appreciated
Thanks
