Hi all, I was woken up with my alarm blaring in the middle of the night( very loud!), it turned out to be the garage conversion pir which triggered the alarm, on investigation there were no signs of forced entry, however the toilet door in the conversion was wide open, is it possible that the wind could of moved the door slightly which could of triggered the pir?, this has never happened before,so this may be its first false alarm in years, The pirs I have are aritech ev125s which I believe are good, they are just standard, no dual tec.
Was it likely just the wind?, could a door moving slightly by wind or whatever trigger a pir?,or is it something more sinister?, there is no window in the toilet, just a fan with a cold draft, there are no signs of insects near the pir, this is literally the first time this has happened in years, never had a problems at night, we set the alarm day and night, I guess a false alarm was bound to happen at one point or another, let me know what you think? was it just the wind?
thanks
