After the hot summer just gone, we realised that we had not turned our CH on for weeks. Oddly, the bathroom rad (which we recently replaced) comes on, but all the others are stone cold.

Although the pipes around the pump are hot, and there is a noise, I have bled it and increased the speed to no avail.

Do I need to replace the pump, or am I overlooking a schoolboy error?

is it a fully pumped system
are the motorized valves working
The pump may be broken ,even if it is making a noise

The bathroom rad is probably on the hot water circuit

i am certanly no plumber

are you radiator thermostats and room stat at a level they will turn on
just thinking the average temperature has been about 20degrees
so if your roomstat an rad stats are less than that they may not work
and if your bathroom hasnt got a radiator stat that could be the
only one working or i could be the only one set lower than the air temprature

CLose the valves on your working rad. Do the rest start to work? If so, it needed to be ONLY JUST open. If not, dud pump probably.

I increased the pump speed, and all radiators are now up to speed. Many thanks to those who have assisted with advice. I will probably replace the pump if I reduce the speed and the rads cut out again.
