Hi all
I wonder if anyone can shed some light on this prob...
Alpha had faulty main board so I replaced it. Also the HW diaphragm was shot so I replaced that. The fan was well grungy so I took it out and cleaned it like new. The Venturi were cleared out and the whole heat excahnger and combustion chamber was clean like a new button! The boiler seemed to be fine and ran v nicely. Then the customer rings when he gets home and says it's not working!!! I said leave CH mode on while we are on the phone then after a couple of mins it fires up! Basically the prob is that it takes ages to fir up... Any ideas please?
Thanks

The main flow switch is situated on top of the diverter valve assembly. The pin is visible and should rise instantly of the pump coming on. Once it does light do all the rads get hot? This is best way of testing pump, if not then assume pump but for what it takes replacment of diaphragm and clean out flow switch would probably be done first.

Yes - when pump runs rads do get well hot but issue is the amount of time that it takes for the boiler to kick in! Any new ideas please?

For the 3rd time is this post how about the diaphragm?
