Alpha 240E Boiler not giving hot water

Hi,

My Nan has an Alpha 240E boiler which is not providing hot water? I have checked the LED's on the control panel and when you turn on a hot tap the hot water LED illuminates but the water does not get hot. PLease can someone give me some help on what I can check and what this fault could be.

Is the central heating working as normal?
