I have been using Mapei Ultrabond P990 as adhesive to bond some reclaimed maple flooring. I have a very large area of flooring to lay and already have got through a number of tubs. As this adhesive is very expensive £80/£90 a tub can anyone recommend a cheaper alternative to Mapei?

What would you say to Laybond L16 ? That is broadly similar to the stycobond B92, isn't it ?

No experience with Laybond L16 ourselves, so can't judge on that one.

We now frequently use F.Ball B92 and B91 for wooden floors (B91 for wood blocks) since Lecol is no longer producing the Lecol5500 (not green enough)

(although there seems to be different shades of green in their "green credentials" - Lecol UK insists both the 5500 and the filler 7500 are still available in the UK, but we've stopped selling them)

Thanks for that! Do you know where I can purchase F Ball B92 from, online if possible. Thanks!
