Does anyone have experience of thermo-hydraulic valves? They are billed in the Danfoss catalogue as a low-cost alternative to motorised valves for controlling heating zones. But they look like little more than a powered version of a TRV, which doesn't augur well.
And another: Why are solenoid vales out of fashion (or so it seems)? You'd have thought they would be a neat alternative to both motorised and thermo-hydraulic.
