Alu Radiators

I think it may be psychological, with our old LPG Boiler, I had the Radiator set to shut down when the Table Thermostat reached 20/21*. Nice and comfy....now the same Thermostat is showing same with the Heat pump but I feel cold...and it takes time to get there. I don't think we need to worry too much about the Winter as down here(Penzance), it seldom falls below freezing, 2023 February was the coldest month and it averaged 8*. Think I may install an additional small Rad....to see if the room heats quicker.......Thank you all...

...they are more expensive, which gives owners a warm glow of pride.
And they tell themselves they are "saving the planet" when, in reality, even if we shut the entire country down and we all perished, it wouldn't make the slightest difference to the World's climate, because Britain contributes less than 1% to the World's CO2 emissions.

2 Reasons why I got a Heat pump.....my old boiler was over 15 years old.......and the main one..we struggled to get our Bikes past the LPG Bottles at the side of the house......

I have just had a Heat Pump installed and am not impressed with the time it takes to heat the living room. We kept all our old rads. On line it's recommended a bigger size Rad or Aluminum Rads. Any thoughts please.......
What is the heat loss of your property?
What size heat pump do you have?
Have you been provided with a room by room heatloss report so that you know the size radiators recommended for each room?
How are you controlling the heat pump?

Don't just throw bigger radiators at the problem, work out what you need.
