Aluminium v Timber & UPVC Products

Hi all,

I was just wondering what peoples opinions were with regards to using an aluminium interlocking wall planking system as opposed to a timber/UPVC system.

One obvious thing would be the initial cost, but this would be offset because of its life span is far far greater than timber/upvc.
