Got the kitchen plastered and the electrician came to 2 nd fix. The sockets have gaps round them . Not a lot but looks ****. Also the wall has curves around the boxes so can’t get them flat on the wall.
Sparky blames for the plasterer for not cutting the boxes out but basically wiggling something in the hole to clean them out.
All it needs is some filler but is all 5 double sockets and not sure I should be doing this.
Shall I call him back to fix it all or just knuckle down and spend a few hours doing it myself?
Paid £1900 for the job if matters. ( kitchen diner 7x4m ceiling overboard skim).
Sorry best photos I could get.

Bent sockets can cause tripping as the mechanism components are very tight and may short.
Might have bent sockets now and buggered them up.
Call plasterer back.

Electrician should not have fitted them like that. Should of said something and come back when corrected or packed temporary

You will like these. Bit late though.
Box beads.

The boxes, when fitted, should be recessed just below the face of the plaster, so the plasterer, can plaster straight over the top, as if the boxes were not there, with cables curled up in the box. Any protrusion, makes it difficult, to get the plaster flat and level. Finding the boxes, can then be done with either a metal detector, or a magnet. the plaster edge being carefully cut, with a blade. Even then, some filling might be needed, to the edges, before decorating - a decorator should do this.

Arnt they some sort of fancy flat plate sockets - what about a normal socket profile that would perhaps cover the gaps.

Well spotted! Those front plates are extremely thin, not very rigid, they will deform very easily.
