Amusing repair to a bath seen on holiday

Saw this on holiday, the 70's called and want there decor back, can think of one or two on here that might think this is a smart repair...

It is a sheet of stainless over a hole in the tiles, with a central bolt, the lighting was dim so the exposure was too long to be sharp.

Even the soap dish was avocado green.

Wasn't avocado more of an 80's thing? 70's was bright pinks and blues. Round here, anyway!

My Mum got a whole three piece plus shower tray in Wild Sage in 1986. It was all the rage. Looks very dated now.

I thought avocado was 70s too.
