Anchor bolts - how near to old holes?

I'm moving a heavy duty TV support which requires anchor bolts. I need to move the whole thing about 8 cm up the same wall. The new anchor bolts will be placed directly above the old ones. What spacing do I need to ensure the bolt can expand and get a firm hold (thought the anchor bolt might weaken the surrounding brick)?

Very much less than 8cm.

You should resin-fix the bolts; just as secure and no risk of cracking the bricks,
