Hi All,
I am building a deck off the house that will be around 4" from ground level (So there is barely a step down from the patio doors).
I have cemented in all of my support posts in the garden but just need to attach my 4x2's to the foundation as my ledger board. (I will then use joist hangers off of that)
What I am unsure of is how heavy duty I need to anchor it. Could I use the really large plastic anchor plugs with large screws or do I need to go with threaded anchors (The steel ones that slide in and then open when tightened)
Either way what size or spacing would be neccesary?
The joists will be a span of 6-7' maximum between the ledger attached to the house and first row of concrete supports.
Thanks
