Whats wrong with painted pipes?, it means you get to purchase a nice new shiny pipeslice regularly

not if you strip them occasionaly and clean them out

not very good on stainless sparge pipes tho

i have decided i'm going to get myself some nitromors for the stuborn paint that wont even burn off (like yesterdays..in that small cupboard...aarrgggg )

1 get a decent blowlamp
2 theres still water in the pipework

Yep im with you, hate pained pipes, I do find a pipe slice removes a fair bit, but does damage, to the slice but so does stainless steel pipes, and i still use a slice on um !. As for sparge pipes..... rather work on that end of the system !!.
