Another phantom post

I have just received an email saying that there has been a reply to a topic I am watching. When I go to the topic there is no new post there. The email time is about an hour different from the time of the last post.

Has the post somehow disappeared/been deleted or is it just that the email did not leave DIYnot as quickly as it usually does?

This isn't the first time this has happened.

PS could the notification email also say who has replied? I've seen this on other forums

It's probably where something went wrong this end and the email was queued. It could be possible to add more info to the email, I'll look into it.

I thought it might be something like that.

If you do add more info to the email, could it be along the lines of "Joe Bloggs replied to this topic at 17:50 on 27/01/2010"? The date the email went out is then irrelevant.
