Any one can help with PROGRAMMABLE DIGITAL ROOM STAT

I just bought a TOWER PROGRAMMABLE DIGITAL ROOM STAT to replace my acl old manual stat . My old manual stat has got 4wire Red,yellow,blue and neutral and new stat only got 2 wire .I put red on common yellow on NO but it only control downstairs Radiators on or off ,but not upstairs radiators.Can any one know what's going on ?

I think its probably correctly wired.

Have you checked the F&E tank has water in it ???

Then the motorised valve (if you have one) that is supposed to prevent gravity water circulation when the heating is "off" is either faulty, or incorrectly wired.

The stat is not the problem. Read my previous post a few more times until you understand it.

other question， stat shut down when the temperature enough what about pump is it still run or it will stop and boiler stay on pilot light ？
