Hi all,

Sorry for the rookie question, but does anybody have any advice for draught proofing an ill-fitting front door? Pics attached.

The gap seems too large for most insulating materials, but maybe I'm just looking at the wrong stuff...

Thanks,

Michael

I think that Foxhole might be recommending a seal that is tacked to the outside of the door fame. It will work, but if you don't want a visible exterior seal, I can walk you through the alternative process. It is very, very time consuming though, so much so that many people swerve it.

Wickes has this rubber and brush as I was looking at it yesterday.
I've bought the floor long brush and the door surround short brush but you need the rubber around the sides and top.
Comes in pack with 2 side long lengths and short top length.
Then buy the floor brush

Forgive. Just saying..
That yale lock is terrible. Don't trust that as credit card slid in will open that.
Insurance man may mention if you claim. See you have another better lock
