Any way to patch this up for the winter?

Hello. My garage roof has a big gap suddenly appeared. I'll add a picture. It's corrugated probably asbestos and a bit has disappeared along the ridge. Is there anything I can do for now like tape a sheet of something over the hole. If so what kind of tape?

Get a metal sheet ridge . They come in 3mtr lengths and not that expensive .

Do you mean drill and bolt it on?

You should already have bolt holes where the original ridge was . So no need to drill the asbestos .
