Just installed Internet Explorer 8 and found lots of "sticky" pages that are just white when you close them down? The content goes but the window remains.
I have even removed all the 101 toolbars I have to try to rectify the problem? :?:

Have had it or a while now, and it is definitely slower loading. Other than that, it seems to work OKish!

Get a few "usupported browser" pages now and again. Apart from that, seems OK

I see the MODs are right on the ball again, moving this straight off to the 'Software' forum!

I'm a FF user myself. Stopped using IE a while ago.

Had to many probs with IE7 so still have IE6 but mainly use FF3.
No probs with that and it clears your history automatically.

Does Firefox interact seamlessly with other microsoft applications? Mind you if IE is so crap then its worth the change i guess?

Get the latest version of Firefox v3.5.1
http://filehippo.com/download_firefox/

And as for your query about Microsoft applications working in Firefox, it has this little Add-on that make it appear to be IE for when a site will only open with IE. Also handy for getting Windows Updates using Firefox:

Your Favourites will just import from IE and they are called Bookmarks in Firefox.
Just click Bookmarks -> Organize Bookmarks -> Import and follow the simple instructions.
