Anyone got Fluke 165X Range?

Hopefully someone has a fluke 165x range, I have the 1651 and got an issue with nulling the leads - Im sure they dont zero/

The manual says this:

Before making a continuity test, short the ends of the
probes together and press and hold Zero button until the
ZERO annunciator appears.


Well when I press the zero button the meter carries out its test, identified from the beep and the word test but the ZERO annunciator does not appear.

Has anyone else had a similar problem with the 165x range I assume I can get this repaired at the same place they get calibrated.

Happens to me too. Changing the batteries sorted it.

Thanks, I appreciate the info will give i a go tomorrow! As the battery indicator shows full I never thought to replace them.
