We've got loads of drink in - I love cocktails.

Anyone got any good easy 'recipes' to share.

The only spirit I don't like is whiskey.

Nah, had a look at that one - don't like the sound of it - probably because of the frogs!!!

This doesn't help as I don't remember the contents but my story is :- many years ago I went into a pub which was empty apart from me and the barman so naturally we got into conversation, he told me that he used to be a cocktail barman on cruise ships and how people don't drink cocktails anymore he then went on to demonstrate his cocktail making skills at no cost to me the one I remember that was really nice was a "white lady" cant remember what went into it though and I cant find it on ninebobs link.

Ingredients
5/10 Gin
3/10 Cointreau
2/10 lemon juice

How to make it
Place some ice cubes in the shaker and add all the other ingredients. Shake for 6-8 seconds and strain into the glass. Serve undecorated. The cocktail is ready.

Variations
Some bartenders also add a dash of egg white. Serve it after dinner.
It was invented in 20s at Ciro's Club in London by a bartender whose name was Harry Mc Alone in honour of a mysterious white lady.
