Anyone in the market for a new digital camera?

After much deliberation I settled on a Panasonic DMC-FZ5 (in black - silver looks cheap). I'll keep this short and just say that it is perfect and at £255 for a 5mp 12x (yes 12x!) optical zoom is an absolute steal.

Sorry no, I’m not selling it. I was just mentioning that it's a great camera and that if anyone was trying to decide what camera to go for then they should include the Panasonic DMC-FZ5 in their shortlist. £255 is what you can get it for new.

Are you sure not spamming or on commission base? If not, I can recommend the Olympius 700 10x optical zoom (£225 last December), works a treat, is as shiny silver as yours

And I've just upgraded from a 2mp camera.
