Im in the middle of refurbing a load of cast iron school radiators to put into our old stone house. The thinking is the low continous heat from cast iron rads will be better suited, also be heated by a back boiler when the fire is on.
Most folk recomend TRV's over manual valves but I can't find a good value brass or copper (anything older looking) TRV that doesnt cost £70-100! Mmy plumber is recomending Danfoss white TRV's at £14 a pop but they just wont look right.
Can you recomend a non modern looking TRV that is as good as the standard types that dont cost the earth?
Thanks
