Hi all.
I've built a porch with apex (triangular) roof.
There is a bay lean to roof joining onto one side of it.
Firstly I used a 3 inch wall plate o. Top of window frame rather than 5 inch which was on existing bay roof.
Then I put 6 inch over hang on apex roof. If I put tile on the side next to bay roof it is quite a bit low so new gutter will not join onto gutter on the bay side.
I've crossed battened new roof by inch and half so that should level things out however only if I cut the overhang on the 2 sides back to zero.
I don't want to cross batten further as the roof will look "thick"
I've kept my valley boards flush with rafters. But now I've cross battened one side will that mean I will have to build valley up from one side
Any solutions without ripping all roof off and raising it?
Currently no tiles are on and only vertical battens on top of breathable felt.
Cheers
