on the apollo fanfare {horrible boilers - dangerous thing } the thing whoch causes red hot heating is the high low stats or boiler stat. The thermocouple will go out but shouldnt need replacing. Is your boiler banging like someone hitting it with a hammer? whats your hot water like? make sure if ANYONE does any work on your boiler the case seal is intact, this has caused so many deaths. the case must be sealed not only to keep fumes in but the fan and gas valve work with a sealed unit.

Now incase i read your post wrong, i assumed the raidators are really hot? in that case changing a thermocouple woundnt fix it.

always try to replace limit stats, - boiler stat.

good luck mate! :D
