Aqualisa Aquastream problem

I have just replaced the thermostat ( 022807 part ) on my shower as the shower body was dripping water constantly. Now after replacing the thermostat complete with gasket and new 'o' ring, my shower head now drips water.
What is the main reason for the constant dripping of water from the shower head.
