Aqualisa lubricant

I have the above taps fitted to my bath and basin - they have been in for many years and have given great service ( which, at the price, they should!)

However, periodically, the hot taps become hard to turn. Last time, I removed the cartridge from the body of the tap, lightly greased the thread that operates the tap, and replaced.

Result? A smooth motion again. Unfortunately, it doesn't last long before it starts stiffening again - obviously yours truly has not used the most suitable lubricant.

What should I be using?
