We have just moved into a new house in which the previous owners have installed an Aqualisa Pump on the power shower.
When we switch on the power shower, the water dribbles out cold and the pump does not seem to start up. It does sound as though it's trying to start though so it does seem to have power.
Does anyone have any ideas before I call out an expensive plumber ?!!
Thanks.

or am I mistaken?

good luck...

You need more than a dribble if the flow switch is to operate. Tried lowering the hose?
Then the flow switch has to work
then the motor needs power and has to go round - ie not be burned out or stuck..
Most of that you can check with a multimeter.

JohnD, you might be mistaken but give me a clue !! :D

Chris, thanks for the advice.
I'll check the flow and see how I go.

If you don't recognise the picture, it must be of someone else with a similar name
