Steam function has a drain facility if the button is held down. Instead of sending power to solenoid on drain pipe to drain steam generator tank of water it powers the solenoid on water inlet to tank sending water out of the steam outlet. It also appears to not open the water inlet at any point to replace water lost during steaming consequently potentially boiling the tank dry.
The unit is 10 months old and has not worked since new and it has had pretty much every part changed during about a dozen visits from aqualux and I'm worried that perhaps wires have been refitted wrongly?
