The heater box has snapped from the drum, and I enquired for replacement parts, £20 for a metal plate, and £7 for a broken spring.
But while in the shop, I enquired, if this part is needed, and could I use the machine as a washing machine only. Yes was the answer.
But as the parts were not available, was told to call back...now the heater part of the machine apparently has water running through it, even though it is for drying only. And as it had a massive bit of the piping missing, then I would expect a flood, which I didn't get.
So what's the truth? Can I run a washer/dryer, but ignore the dryer part? or does the dryer part have water running through it, even though a section of pipe had fallen off, but no flood? just damp clothes.
