Hi guys,
I am new to the forum (and to DIY in general!). I am refurbishing a 1950s Bungalow. I have a total of 50 square meters of floor that need leveling. the big room is 30 m2 and will be covered with laminate and the smaller area is 20 m2 and will be tiled. At the moment there is about 50% of both surfaces covered with bitumen used to fix parquet and vinyl (I don't think is a DPM) and the rest is an irregular slab of cement. After a lot of reading I had decided to use arditex NA. I came along a post about Level IT two self leveling screed. Just by reading what the manufacturers say, both products seem to have similar properties but level IT two is a lot cheaper (could save me 200 pounds!).
Does anyone know what the differences between both compounds are? will both stick to the bitumen? Is Arditex worth the difference in price?
Any other products that I could use?
Thanks for your help!
