Are partitioned cold water tanks available/legal?

I have an old open-vented system custom made for my flat. Not only does it have such curiosities as an oval hot water tank but the cold supply is partitioned internally, to provide an expansion tank for the primary with minimum usage of space.

Are partitioned cold water tanks (including expansion & supply) still available & legal?
