Arggggggh Haven Cabin bed

Hello all,

I really hope someone can advise me. I have spent literally all day and not finished putting together a Haven Cabin bed from Argos/Homebase.

I am at step 8, but have no idea how to put the two parts together and then fix on the side panels .


Suppose this will only mean something if anyone else has put one together.

That is the bed in question and the instructions are ok up to this stuck point..

Often, in self assembly furniture, the parts are mirrored, but with slight differences, so maybe, you are swapping the left hand parts, with the right?

Incorrect dowelling screws, are inserted into the incorrect holes, which makes things wonky?

You didn't actually say what the problem was, but linked to an advert for the bed...it looks uncomfortable..and why state in the ad, turn the mattress frequently?

It also says 2 people need to assemble, well two heads are better than one, maybe they made the instructions cryptic on purpose?
