ariston a 23 mffi combi boiler no hot water

I wonder if anyone can help me. I've discovered that my boiler is not heating the water. Whilst having the heating on the water is quite hot but when the heating turns off the water does too. If i switch to water only and turn the tap on, i get no hot water.............

Any help would be greatly appriciated.

Sounds like a diverter valve problem, or the microswitch assy on top of it.

Don't do cost as virtually all our work is contract or fixed price repair.
the microswitch assy is easy, even for a virtual novice. The diverter valve is a bit more tricky as draining and refilling etc. is reqd.

Probably just needs a new diaphragm...£5.00 part and an easy job.
