Ariston A23 MFFI (no hot water)

Hope someone can assist??

The above is a combi boiler, but when the hot water taps are turned on the boiler does not fire up!!

However when the central heating is being used everything works fine ie radiotors get hot plus hot taps work fine.. surely this confirms pump etc all okay

Thinking more micro switch, diaphragm perhaps.

Any help would be so much appreciated,

Expect diverter diaphragm has failed but other possibilities.

If you are comfortable with water joints and feel you can properly isolate electricity supply and drain water etc. then its fairly straightforward.

Would you change the water pump on your car ( not Peugeot though )?
