The good news is that my washer dryer works. The problem is that the programme letters on the outer dial have now worn away completely and I can no longer tell what programme to use...so whilst it works I can't use it !

Ariston tells me that the part ( the outer dial) is now obsolete and they can no longer provide it...

Can anyone help and tell me where I can source this "obsolete part"

or alternatively

Could someone who has this model take a picture of their dial and send it to me. I can then try and use an indelible pen to write it on to the outer dial and get my machine back working !

Many many thanks

I know it's not helpful but you could have done this yourself before the markings wore off completely. You have had plenty of warning that this would eventually happen. I see the instruction book is still available, this should contain pictures of the control panel.

Hi

Your comments would have been well placed but I've been abroad for the last 12 months and was not around to see it happen..

I still have the original manual/handbook sold with the machine but there are no details on any of the pictures / diagrams of the programme dial and the programmes themselves are explained on a chart.

So thanks for that suggestion but on this occassion it's not the solution. Any more suggestions welcome

Hi There

I have this machine myself, I can take a photo of the programmer knob if you still need it.

Do we have PM facilities for email addresses ?

I have exactly the same problem. Particularly programmes 2, 3 and 4. If you are able to post or send a photo of the dial then that would be brilliant. Thanks

John56, i doubt you will get a reply

g0pkh who made the offer:

a) Never posted a picture

b) offered almost 4 months ago

c) never posted again

neither of them (and you) have their email address showing in their profile.

so if anyone else wants to hi jack this, please don't
